Financial Statement Automation At Taxi Company

Project goal

Automated the production of financial statements using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and charts.

Project details

The client, a large regional taxi company, required automation of their monthly financial statements and the ability to spot trends in profitability by product and geographical area. The consultant developed a facility to import the raw financial data from their Accounting package into Microsoft Excel and also developed a Graphical User Interface for the analysis of the company's financial results.

Users were then able to drill down into the results by many dimensions and could then very easily identify trends in profitability. 

Project outcome

The company was provided with an intuitive Graphical User Interface through which Management and Accounting staff had greatly increased financial control.
