Project Goal

Create and maintain tactical applications and provide support during the implementation of a complex General Ledger implementation for an international bank.

Project Details

During this assignment the consultant provided an array of services which included:

Creating tactical applications using Microsoft Excel and Excel Macros to automatically post entries from spreadsheets to the General Ledger
Creating and delivering training courses to approximately 200 users on how to use the General Ledger reporting tool, as well as the hierarchical structure of the General Ledger
Assisting users in inputting General Ledger transactions
Providing assistance for the reconciliation of daily balances and profitability for financial products
Solving technical problems for users with various financial systems.

Project Outcome

The client was left with a greatly improved ability to control and monitor financial profitability and stability across its regions and products.
